# Getting Started

> How to apply, join, and link your account.

## 1. How to Join 🚀

Schmittenstein is a whitelisted server to ensure high-quality roleplay.

1. Go to [schmittenstein.com/apply](https://schmittenstein.com/apply).
2. Log in with your Discord account.
3. Complete the short application form (Reason, Experience, Rules).
4. Wait for an Admin to review your application. Check your status anytime on the same page.

## 2. How to Connect

Once approved:

1. Open Minecraft (Java Edition).
2. Add Server: `schmittenstein.com`.
3. Join!

## 3. How to Link Your Account

Secure your account to access web features.

1. Log in to the server.
2. Type `/auth` in-game to get your code.
3. Go to [schmittenstein.com/login](https://schmittenstein.com/login) and enter the code.
